Have you ever made Won Tons before?
I love Chinese Food. We have an amazing Chinese restaurant right down the street that we love to order take out for special date nights. However eating out isn’t exactly budget friendly. Which is why I have learned how to make many of our favorite take out meals. I was happy to discover that Won Tons were surprisingly easy to make (though they do take a bit of time to prepare.) When I make these, I often make a double batch just so I can make sure to get some because they are snatched up as fast as they are cooked.
I often serve these with some homemade fried rice and either beef broccoli, mandarin chicken, or sweet and sour chicken, or orange chicken. Now I just need to learn how to make my own fortune cookies.
**Note: If you are not a fan of seafood you can make these Won Tons with 1 lb of ground pork and leave out the shrimp. Personally I like them better with both. The flavors work so well together. However, just plain pork are good too.
This recipe is enough for one package of Won Ton Wrappers. (about 100 Won Tons)
