Sharing is caring!

It's not Halloween without some yummy treats to share.

I am all about tradition, and one of my favorite Halloween traditions is to make yummy mouth watering treats (like pumpkin chocolate chip cookies) and anonymously leave them on the door steps of my friends, family, and random neighbors.

As everyone knows, the best gifts are the ones that keep on giving. Which is why delivering my anonymous doorbell ditched Halloween treats with the You've been Booed sign/instructions is soo much fun.

The whole idea is that whoever receives the You've Been Booed treats, first, enjoy their delicious gift. Next, they place the We've been Booed sign either on their front door or in their front window (to let people know they have already been booed). Then as per the instructions they have two days to make two coped of the instructions & signs as well as two yummy treats. Then they get to join in the fun and deliver to two friends, family or neighbors who haven't been Booed yet.

It is always fun when a neighborhood really gets into this and you start seeing signs popping up all over the place.

This is a fun family activity that you are never too young or old to enjoy. I let my kids help decided what we are going to make and who we want to Boo. Usually, my husband and I are the ones who do the actual doorbell ditching (since my kids are still a bit too young) while the rest of us hide behind a car or shrubbery. I think this will be a fun family tradition for years to come. Especially because it help focus my kids on giving in a season when most are obsessed on what they will be getting.
