DIY Frozen Treat Bucket
Summer is officially here which means it is HOT!
The only way to survive the heat is with lots of water and even more FROZEN TREATS! Today I stocked up on tons of Popcicles. I bought 2 bags of them. Even though I know we will go through them fast, I didn't want them to end up all over my freezer.
To keep a little order, and make it easier for the kids to get them out I made a Frozen Treats Freezer Box. (I made it a Frozen Treat Bucket instead of just a Popsicle Bucket because it wont always be used for popsicles. I have a spot for Ice Cream, Ice Cream Sandwiches and Frozen Candy-bars...)
To make the box I bought a plastic organization box for $2 at Walmart and then used my Cricut Explore Air to cut out Vinyl to decorate the box.
I created the Design in Cricut's Design Space. Making sure each different design aspect was a different color (so the Cricut machine would know to have me change out the Vinyl at the appropriate time. Then I just clicked the Go button to sent the project design to my Cricut Explore Air.
After the vinyl was cut I weeded out all the un-needed vinyl and applied the vinyl to my box. I could have used transfer paper but I save that for bigger projects and just applied it by hand.
