Have you ever been to a Mickey's Search Party?

This last weekend I was invited out to the opening night of Disney On Ice. We love going to Disney On Ice as a family date night every time it's in town. This Disney on Ice was a bit different though for it was a Mickey's Search Party.

I have to admit that this was by far my favorite Disney On Ice Performance we have gone to over the years. let me explain why. Mickey's Search party, first of all, is a lot more interactive with the audience. The performers didn't just interact with families on the front row during one scene, but they interacted with audience members scattered through the stands throughout the entire show. Thist kept everyone alert in case they would be the next lucky person to be included in the preformance.

The story was that Tinkerbell was captured by pirates, her magic wand stollen and she was locked away. We needed to find enough magic to set her free. So we traveled through beloved Disney stories to find enough magic.  I love this for it cohesively wove together all the fun preformances shown.

Some of my faovirte preformances were:

Beauty and the Beast. I especially love the ariel parts with the silk ribbons with the dancers and Belle.

Toy Story and the acrobatic acts of the little green ary men who worked togther to dislodge the ball stuck on a shelf.

Cocoa, with the crazy dancers swaying high on poles that bent with every movement.

and Frozen with Olaf, Kristoff, and Anna as they seek out Elsa in her frozen castle.

The whole night was so magical, I can't wait to take my family again next time they are in town.
