Have you Heard the News about Cricut's Mug Press?
Earlier today Cricut announced that come March 11th they are launching a new product. The Cricut Mug Press!! I don't know about you, but I was freaking excited when I found out Cricut was releasing their own Mug Press to use with their Infusible Ink products.
Custom mugs make for great gifts! Especially when teamed up with other fun treats (like hot cocoa bombs, gift cards, comfy socks, or your favorite candy or chocolate). Now with the Cricut Mug Press making professional quality mugs is easier than ever!
What I love the most about the Cricut Mug Press is how incredibly easy it is to use. All you have to do is apply your Infusible Ink design to your compatible mug and then let the Mug Press do the rest.
You don't have to set the heat time or temp, for that is taken care of via an internal sensor. Just push down the clamp which activates the Mug Press and wait for it to bing to say it's done. Then remove the mug and set it aside on an easypress mat to cool before removing the design paper/liner. And Walla, a gorgeous colorful professional-quality mug in minutes.
If you love making custom personalized gifts then you will love the Cricut Mug press. It is seriously the easiest, most intuitive mug press I have worked with. It is so simple that it's great even for beginner crafters.
As I said the Cricut Mug Press will be available on Cricut.com and in associated stores (Michaels, JoAnns, HSN, Amazon, Target, & Walmart) on March 11th. The MSRP for the mug press is $199 so mark your calendars!
In addition to the Cricut Mug Press, Cricut will be releasing a line of Infusible Ink Mugs as well as Mug-sized Infusible Ink Sheets (though you can use your Joy-sized sheets or full-sized sheets for your Cricut will cut them to size.)
Cricut Mugs (which are coated with a special polymer coating to work with their Infusible Inks) will come in 2 sizes. 12 and 15 oz. They will come in 2, 6, and online-only 36 packs starting at $6.99. Additionally, you can buy individually their specialty 15 oz mugs that are grey inside with grey handles at Cricut.com.
