Ingredients

  • Duncan Hines Comstock Raspberry Pie Filling and Topping 21 oz.
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • 1 Box Yellow Cake Mix
  • 1 ½ Sticks Butter

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C)

In the 9x13" pan, spread the raspberry pie filling evenly, ensuring it covers the bottom.

Drizzle the lemon juice over the raspberry filling to enhance the fruity flavor.

Next, sprinkle the yellow cake mix evenly over the raspberry layer, covering it completely. The cake mix will form the delicious crust for your bars.

Now, it's time to add a layer of richness. Arrange the thin slices of butter over the cake mix until the entire surface is covered. Use approximately 1 ½ sticks of butter, ensuring that each corner gets its fair share of buttery goodness.

Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for about 30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.

Once baked, remove the pan from the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes. You can serve the bars hot, resembling a comforting cobbler with a gooey texture, or let them cool completely for a firmer, crusty layer on top, transforming them into irresistible upside-down bars.

Slice into squares or bars and serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream for an extra indulgent treat. Enjoy the delightful combination of tangy raspberries, buttery cake, and a hint of lemon in every bite!

These Raspberry Upside-Down Bars are sure to become a new favorite in your household. With their simplicity and mouthwatering flavor, they're perfect for any occasion, from casual family dinners to holiday celebrations.

Plus, the versatility of serving them warm or cooled makes them a crowd-pleaser every time. Give this recipe a try, and watch as it quickly becomes a staple in your recipe collection. Happy baking!
