Learn How to Make your Own Bitmoji Infusible Ink Mug with the Mug Press
Last week, Cricut announced the news of their new Cricut Mug Press! With the Mug Press, you can make gorgeous professional-quality custom mugs in just minutes. It is super easy to use and now that I have used it to make a few mugs I am obsessed.
The Cricut Mug Press is specifically designed to help you make custom mugs with their Infusible Ink materials. They have a whole line of patterned and color sheets, pens, and markers to make your mug designs with.
As of today the Mug Press, Cricut Mugs, and mug press-sized Infusible Ink sheets are now available for purchase at Cricut.com!
To celebrate, I want to show you how to use Cricut’s Mug Press and Infusible Ink Sheets to make your own custom Bitmoji Mug!! (I used a new mug pres- sized infusible ink sheet in black for this project)
Mine says Mom Boss on it, but how cute would it be if you made a custom Bitmoji Mug for your kid’s teacher and put some treats and maybe a gift card in it. This would then make for the perfect teacher appreciation gift!

DIY Bitmoji Infusible Ink Mug
Enjoy this step-by-step tutorial for using Cricut's Infusible Ink and new Mug Press to make your own custom Bitmoji Mug!

Instructions
Click on Cricut Design Space Mug Template-->HERE<--
Select the Mug size (the border doesn't matter for this mug design)
-->Upload Your Bitmoji SVG cut file into Design Space<--
** If desired add Text (I used the Easton Font for my Mom Boss)
Align the text and Bitmoji Design and select attach
Size the finished design to fit in the mug template and then select to duplicate the design.
Delete the Mug template leaving only your bitmoji/text designs.
**For this mug to save on infusible ink we won't cut out the whole template just the two designs. (though if you want the temple fully cut to aid in the placement you can do so.
Click to make it and be sure to select mirror image for the mat.
Choose Infusible Ink Sheets on the materials list and load it into the machine on a standard grip mat material side up.
After cutting weed design by hand.
Use a lint roller/cloth on your mug to make sure there is no lint on the mug that would mess up the design.
Tape Bitmoji designs onto both sides of the mug (**You can place a piece of tape across the top of the mug to give you a center guide to help you know where to put the design.)
Turn on Mug Press and when heated place your mug into the press making sure that the whole design is covered.
Press down mug clamp and let the mug press do the rest. It will beep when done.
Lift the Mug Press clamp and carefully pull out the mug.
**The handle will be cool to the touch but be careful for the mug itself will be extremely hot.
Place on an easypress mat to coll for a few minutes
Once cool to the touch peel off the design.

How fun is this mug?!? Of all the ones I have made so far while playing around with my new Mug Press, I think this is my favorite. My husband has drawn characters of the rest of our family, and I think I’ll need to make us all our own Bitmoji mugs. What do you think?
I can’t tell you how in love I am with the new mug press. Yes, there are other mug presses out on the market today, but what I love about this one is how easy it is to use and how safe. With its safety design features including cool to the touch plastic, I don’t have to worry about making mugs around my children (since I don’t have a dedicated craft room yet.)
