7 Easy and Affordable Goodie Packaging ideas all under $10

Baking and giving away Christmas Goodies is an honored tradition in my home. As soon as December arrives, our home is filled with the sweet smells of baking cookies and loves of sweet bread, and of course candy making. We make fudge, caramel, mints, toffee and more.
We would make ourselves sick if we tried to eat all the goodies we bake each Christmas. Which is why we give away a large portion of our goodies. (keeping a small amount for ourselves to enjoy.
Not wanting to just give the goodies on a paper plate with clear cling wrap (after all this is our Christmas gift to our friends and neighbors, I am always looking for practical yet gorgeous goodie packaging ideas. This year I hit BINGO at Oriental Trading Company. I had no idea that Oriental Trading Company had soo many packaging options available. Here are 7 of my favorite that are each for less than $10 a package!
1- Christmas Trays with Bags and Tags
These are especially great for Cookie exchange parties and large goodie gifts. The trays are easy to assemble with little tape strips and scored folding lines. One assembled just place your goodies on the tray, slip in the festive cellophane bag and tie with the provided ribbon gift tag.
2- Christmas Cookie Bags
I love the little window on the front of these goodie bags allowing you to see what delicious treat away inside each carefully packaged bag. They are perfect for those less crumbly goodies like chocolate dipped pretzels and cookies.
3- Red Pillow Boxes
These adorable pillow boxes are great to give tiny gifts like mints, chocolates, caramels, and candy. They are great as gifts as well as treats to have at each place setting at your Christmas party dinner. You can leave them plain, tie them with ribbon, or decorate them with cut vinyl. They are so versatile.

I love these fun little window boxes. Like the cookie bags, these boxes have a clear window allowing you to see the goodies inside. They are easy to fold and assemble and are perfect for cookies, candies and other delicious goodies. I found they were the perfect size for my gingerbread cookies.

These little boxes are super cute. I love the plain boxes because then I can decorate them with vinyl (using my Cricut) or easily team them up with one of my cute printable gift tags. They can fit all kinds of goodies inside (even cupcakes or mini loaves of bread) And if you have any boxes left over after Christmas you can use them for other special occasions.
6- Medium Clear Cellophane Bags
I love these bags because you can put soo many things in them. From little loves of bread, to candies, cookies, dipped pretzels etc. You can tie them closed with a ribbon and a gift tag or you use a cute treat bag topper (like these free ones I created) Like the plain red boxes any of these bags that you don't use up can be easily used for other special occasions (like Valentine's day which is just around the corner.)
7- Red Parchment Treat Bags
If you love making and giving delicious cookies for Christmas or are looking for the perfect Christmas party favors these Cookie bags are awesome. You get a ton for really cheap. I love how they look plain but like the idea of customizing them as well with a Christmas message using vinyl (or taping a printable tag on the front.)
I am totally going to order my goodie packages from Oriental Trading Company next year too! Now to get all my baking done! I think I'll make my Great Grandmother's Melt in your mouth Caramels next. I'll try to get the recipe up this year for those caramels too sice they are to die for.
