Easy Oreo Truffle-Pops

Sharing is caring!

If you love Oreos you will love these Oreo Truffle-Pops!

I don't know about you, but my family LOVES Oreos. We love to eat them right out of the package, dipped in ice-cold milk, and yes make delicious treats with them. One of our favorite treats to make with Oreos is truffles. Such an easy-to-make treat and everyone loves them. My husband is particularly obsessed.

Recently I found these adorable Silicone popsicle molds on Amazon and the idea of Oreo Truffle-Pops was born. These popsicle molds would also be perfect for making chocolate-covered cake pops, Ice cream and edible cookie dough pops, but I wanted to start with Oreo Truffle Pops.

You have heard of Cake Pops. These Are Oreo Truffle Pops and they are even better!

Ingredients

Instructions

Melt your Melting Chocolate in the microwave in 30-second intervals stirring in between to make sure you don't burn the chocolate.*

Paint the inside of the popsicle molds with melted chocolate, insert the popsicle sticks and put in the freezer for 3 minutes to harden.

Make the Oreo Truffle Mixture by first crushing 36 Oreos

Then mixing the Oreos and 1 package of (room temperature) Cream Cheese together in a mixer until fully combined.

Press the Oreo Truffle mixture into the molds (I found it easier to do this if I gently removed the popsicle sticks, and then pressing the Oreo Truffle mixture in the molds before reinserting the sticks.)

Cover the back of the truffle pops with melted chocolate and place back in the freezer for 10 minutes to fully harden

Carefully remove the Oreo Truffle-pops from the molds.

(Optional) Drizzle some white chocolate over the Truffle-Pops and then add some sprinkles to decorate.

Notes

*I used tempered chocolate. If you are not you will want to add a small amount of vegetable or coconut oil to the chocolate as you melt it to make it easier to work with.

You can also switch these up by using a different flavor of Oreo. My kids love the Mint ones.

I LOVE how the Oreo Truffle Pops turned out. Some I left plain and others I drizzled with white chocolate and added some fun XOXO sprinkled to make my family fun Valentine's treats. Now my kids are asking me to make another batch this time with Mint Oreos. hmmm. The Possibilities.

Hope you enjoy the Recipe. Let me know if you make some!
