Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Disneyland located on Batuu, is home to two rides, souvenir experiences, intergalactic dining and a number of outposts.
When Galaxy’s Edge opened, it introduced Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run to visitors on Batuu. This ride takes guests through the galaxy on the fastest hunk of junk there ever was. Six guests assume various roles onboard the Millennium Falcon, including a pilot, gunner, and engineer. Fly through the obstacles and try to return the ship to Hondo Ohnaka in one piece for a handful of galactic credits.
As of 2020, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance opened in Galaxy’s Edge Disneyland, taking guests on an immersive experience like never before. Rise of the Resistance is the most multiple technologically advanced ride Disney has ever offered in a theme park, incorporating ride systems and multiple scenes inspired by the Star Wars universe. Join the Resistance in a fight against the First Order and find out who reigns triumphant!
When you visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Disneyland, you can do more than just purchase a souvenir; you can enjoy a memorable experience and have something to take home to show for it.
- Savi’s Workshop - Handbuilt Lightsabers: Stop by this out-of-the-way outpost in Galaxy’s Edge to build your very own custom lightsaber. Choose various parts, including a hilt and kyber crystal, and participate in a ceremony with The Gatherers. Since this type of Resistance paraphernalia is forbidden under the First Order, you’ll want to be discreet when looking for Savi’s. It’s located next to Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities, and doesn’t have any obvious signs to let you know it’s there. Reservations for this experience are recommended, and the cost starts at 199 credits (US dollars). If you do not show for your reservation, you will be charged a $199 fee.
- The Droid Depot: If you’d like to take home an intergalactic sidekick, visit Droid Depot in Galaxy’s Edge. You can choose between R- and BB-series droids (think R2-D2 and BB-8), and can purchase add-ons like personality chips. Your remote-control droid may respond to the land of Batuu, as well as other droids you may encounter in the galaxy. This experience begins at 99 credits (US dollars).
After you’ve explored Batuu a bit, you’re bound to work up an appetite. Here on this new planet, you won’t find typical theme park eats. Galaxy’s Edge offers only food and drinks authentic to the Star Wars universe! Here’s a look at the dining outposts you’ll find in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Disneyland.
- Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo: Think of this as a food truck in space. This outpost serves both meat- and plant-based dishes, including Rising Moons Overnight Oats, Braised Shaak Roast, Fried Endorian Tip-Yip and more.
- Ronto Roasters: For meaty or vegetarian wraps, head to Ronto Roasters. Meats are roasted to perfection by a recycled podracing engine. You’ll also find specialty drinks here.
- Kat Saka’s Kettle: We know almost everyone loves the popcorn at Disneyland, but on Batuu it’s taken to another level! At Kat Saka’s you’ll find a unique savory-sweet blend of popcorn called Outpost Mix. Another option is chocolate popcorn. Is it too corny to say it’s out-of-this-world?
- Milk Stand: If you’re very familiar with the Star Wars franchise, you’ve probably heard of Blue Milk, or at least Bubo Wamba Family Farm. The Milk Stand in Galaxy’s Edge is where you’ll find both Blue and Green Milk. These are dairy-free, smoothie-like drinks with fruity flavors. Pro tip: get them mixed!
When you’ve refueled at one of the dining spots in Galaxy’s Edge, head to the merchandise outposts. You won't find regular, Disney-branded Star Wars gear here, though; it’s once again all authentic to the planet of Batuu.
- Toydarian Toymaker: Zabaka the toymaker fills her shop with unique items such as dolls, card games, wooden figurines and more.
- Black Spire Outfitters: This is the outpost to visit if you’re looking for a Jedi robe! While guests 14 and older won’t be able to wear any costumes in the Parks, they can be purchased here.
- Resistance Supply: You better be discreet about supporting the Resistance while visiting Galaxy’s Edge Disneyland. You can shop Resistance Supply for pins, badges and other accessories that pledge your allegiance to the cause.
- First Order Cargo: If you want to look the part of the First Order, get your apparel, gear and accessories in this outpost.
- Creature Stall: Head to this outpost to find a cuddly, creepy, alien creature to adopt and take home with you.
- Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities: Dok-Ondar has collected items from around the galaxy and brought them back to his outpost for visitors of Batuu. Browse his collection of kyber crystals, holocrons and more.
- Jewels of Bith: This is the one outpost in Galaxy’s Edge that has a “Disneyland Resort” feel to it. You may find more traditional Disney souvenirs here, but they still have a certain Batuu flair to them.
