Looking for the best place to get your family Halloween Costumes?
I love to have coordinating Family Halloween costumes. My husband and I have Harry Potter matching robes (which is sort of our default costumes) One year my kids went all Frozen. My daughter went at Elsa and my sons as Kristoff and Sven. They were totally adorable. This year for Halloween my family has decided to go Super! And even my husband and I are in on it.
With all the awesome Marvel and DC movies and tv shows out there as well as soon to be released Super Heroes are a big thing with my family. Since we are really busy this fall getting ready to head out of town over, I decided to make Halloween simple this year by ordering all our Halloween costumes online at Oriental Trading Company. Why? Because they have a great selection of costumes for Men, Women, Boys and Girls all at really good prices.
Knowing my kids wanted to go Super this Halloween I pulled up the Super Hero costume options available on Oriental Trading Company and let each child pick which one they wanted.
My daughter decided she had to be Supergirl she enjoys watching the tv show on Netflix. My 5-year-old son decided on Iron Man and my 3-year-old went with Spider-Man. My husband and I decided to not do full on costumes this year. Rather we picked Super Hero t-shirts with capes. They had a larger selection of women’s Super Hero tees than men’s. However, we were happy to choose the Wonder Woman shirt for me and the Superman shirt for my husband.
We recently participated in a fun super Hero vs Super Villain event to raise money for our state food bank and since I had gotten our costumes early we were able to dress up for our event (which the kids loved.) You can check it out on my FB page here.
