(I was given a Little Lamb of Bethlehem Box set to help facilitate this post. The thoughts and opinions expressed are entirely my own. You can view my full disclosure here.)

Are you looking for a great Christ-centered Advent Calendar?

Christmas is my favorite time of the year.  While I love to indulge in the fanciful magical side of the season, I am always on the lookout for fun ways to help keep Christmas Christ Centered for my family.

That is why when I was approached by a local bookstore to create a fun Family Advent Calendar printable for a new book Little Lamb of Bethlem (which gives a more Christ-centered alternative to the popular Elf on the Shelf) I said that I would be delighted to.

When my children saw the Little Lamb of Bethlehem gift set I was sent (to help me with designing the Advent Calendar) They begged me to open it right away. The gift set comes with both a super plushy lamb as well as the short Christmas story about this lamb who was present at the birth of Christ.  My kids loved taking turns snuggling with their little Lamby while I read the story to them.

After reading the story I was excited to get designing the advent calendar to go with it. I kept it simple so it would be easy to print, cut and set up to use in your home. Get the FREE Printable Advent Calendar Here.

This Printable comes in two sizes for the main Advent cards.

*The Smaller size is perfect for stand-alone cards that you then glue the scripture cards to the back and hang on a string with wood clothes pins.

-I advise you print the main cards on Card-stock and the scripture pages on regular paper.

*The larger size is perfect to be glued to the front of standard brown paper lunch sacks. Then you then place the scripture cards along with a small treat inside the bag, which you hang on a string with wood clothes pins.

If you want to get your own copy of The Little Lamb of Bethlehem (and I totally recommend it for Christian families looking wanting help with keeping Christmas focused on Christ) you can get it here.

**As a side note The Scriptures used include verses from the Bible and Book of Mormon (since the Author is Mormon aka a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints) The book, however, is written in a general Christian theme about a little lamb present at the Birth of our Savior. For those who want to use this book and advent calendar who are not LDS I have included an extra sheet with blank cards that you can write in your own scriptures or activities on.
