How to throw the Perfect Game Day Party!
Football Season is Here!
Do you like to get together with friends and family to watch your favorite High School, College, our Professional Team Play? Growing up I remember watching many a football game together with my parents and older brothers. Some we went to live, though most were watched from the comfort of our family living room at home.

To be honest as fun as the games were, my favorite part of football games has always been spending time with friends and family while watching our teams compete.

Whether you go all out for every Game day party or just the Big ones (like the Super Bowl) here are some fun Game Day Party Ideas to make your job easier while wowing everybody who attends. After all having a game day party with yummy food and fun decorations can really add to the whole football game watching experience!
To start with I made this Classic Game Day Banner with my Cricut Explore Air 2. (I love how easy it is to just whip out and make a fun project like this banner in a manner of minutes. I think the Banner just made the perfect backdrop for our Game Day Food Table. What do you think?
For those who want to make this Banner, you can access the Design Space Canvas here. Then all you have to do is click make it, adjust the paper sizes to what paper you have (8.5x11 or 12x12) then set your Cricut Machine to Cardstock and start cutting. I glued each layer together using a basic acid-free crafting gluestick and hung it on the string with mini clothespins (though you could punch holes in the top corners to hang on the string or tape the string to the back of the banners if you don't have clothespins.)
For the Drink Wraps, little toothpick pennants (which can be used for straws as well) and Football cupcake toppers I made some fun Printables that you can print at home or local copy center, cut and use.o I really had fun creating these party Printables. My football Party Printable Package comes with 3 standard page size PDF pages.

For the rest of the decorations and tableware for my football party, I went to my favorite online party store Oriental Trading Company. They have an excellent selection of Football Party and Tableware items to choose from at great prices. They even have team specific items which can be fun to get. Personally, I prefer general football decor so that I can use them over again for future game day parties regardless of who is playing.

I started with a fun 3 Tiered Football ceramic serving tray set That I put two different flavors of BBQ Chicken Wings and some Bacon Wrapped Little Smokies (held together with toothpicks decorated with my printable Pennants) For dippable Sauces and salsa I got this fun Football Condiment Tray.
For snacks, I got a box of party mix individual chips and then got these fun Football Paper bowls that I used for Check Mix, Peanut Butter Pretzels, and Honey Roasted Peanuts.
For Dessert, I got this super cute Football Stadium Cupcake Stand. It took I didn't have time to make cupcakes and wanted to keep my prep as simple as possible since I am soo busy these days so I just bought some vanilla cupcakes at our local grocery. I could have filled it with more cupcakes but our party was smaller and so I only got 12 (putting my football cupcake toppers on the cupcakes on the field after adding green sprinkles to the frosting to make it more like grass.)
For the tableware got some generic Black and silver football themed plates and napkins to eat off of. Then to fill in the table decor I got these fun Football Silhouette Centerpieces.
Everyone ooohed and awed at the end result and I was stoked with how easy it was to set up and take down so I could use again later. What was your favorite item from my game day party?
