How to Use The London Explorer Pass
Did you know that you can save over 40% on top London attractions with the London Explorer Pass?
How does it work? Well, you can get a pass for 3, 5 or 7 attractions (you have 20 to choose from) Then you download the London Explorer Pass app and register your Pass and then just scan your pass app as you go. 1 credit per attraction. It's that simple.
The best part is, that no matter which of the attractions you choose you will save money by using this pass.
For this trip, we chose the 3 attraction pass (since we already had tickets for some of the other attractions lined up by the time we found out about this pass.
For our first Credit we chose to take the Big Bus Hop on and off tour through London (they have 3 different Big Bus tours you can use any or all of them in a 1 day period.) The one we chose went to all the major stops and even had a live tour guide who was hilarious!
For our next credit, we visited Westminister Abbey. This is the place were many royals have tied the know (think William & Kate!) It is also where many of the notable Kings and Queens of England are buried as well as other family Englishmen (like Charles Dickens, Issac Newton, Charles Darwin, Geoffrey Chaucer, & Laurence Olivier) Sadly you can't take photos inside the Abbey but trust me it is an amazing sight to see.
For our last credit, we decided to ride the Coca-Cola London Eye. It was so fun to look out over the city from the safety and convenience of the glass booth. The ride was soo smooth you could hardly tell you were moving. On the ride, you can either sit on a bench in the middle of the booth or stand and walk around to better see from all the directions. This ride was soo fun I highly recommend it.
At each location, all we had to do was present my cell phone with the app opened for them to scan the barcode to give us the needed tickets.
In addition to where your Pass information is on the app, there is also information on all the attractions that you have access to choose from as well as special deals and discounts you can get for shopping, dining and entertainment thanks to buying the Pass.
Your pass is good for 30 days from when you first activate it by using one of the credits at an attraction so it really allows for flexibility.

After all, every dollar counts when traveling. For what you don't spend on one place you are able to spend on something else.
