January Health Reset Challenge (with free printable)

Are you needing a health reset after overindulging during the holidays?

Ok, honest moment. I am in desperate need of a health reset. Not only have I totally overindulged these last few months on goodies (I just can’t help myself during the holidays…) but I have also slacked on my healthy habits.

I haven’t been getting in my daily exercise. I have spent way too much time working on my computer. I have slacked on drinking enough water daily and don’t even get me started on my sleep habits.

Because of this I have gained weight, my tummy is unsettled, I have less energy and have started getting regular headaches. ugg.

I was talking with my younger sister a few days ago and she suggested we do a January Health Reset challenge. She proposed that we (all the women in my family) commit to 5 things:

  1. Eat at least 1 Fruit a day
  2. Eat at least 1 veggetable a day
  3. Drink at least 32 oz of water a day
  4. Create a sleep schedule and stick to it
  5. Either walk 8k steps a day or work out for at least 30 minutes

The thought behind this reset is that it is totally doable. Of course we can do more, but this is a baseline to start building those healthy habits that we can build on throughout the year.

I loved the idea, and to make it easier to track I created a printable chart. With a spot for each of the things, we committed to for this health reset.

For those who want to modify our challenge, I have included a second page to the printable where you can set your own daily goals for eating, drinking, sleeping, and exercise.
