(I was given complimentary tickets to attend Marvel Universe Live to facilitate this review. You can read my full disclosure here.)
Ready for my Marvel Universe Live Recap?
This last weekend My family went to see Marvel Universe Live. As soon as I heard that Marvel Universe Live was coming to Salt Lake City I knew my kids would want to go. The Day before they opened I was invited to a backstage preview for the Press which only got me more excited. (check out my experience and see some fun interviews I had with key cast members on my FB page HERE.)
For those who haven't heard about Marvel Universe Live, it is an action-packed performance for the whole family where your favorite Marvel Super Heroes (Spiderman, The Avengers, Dr. Strange, Iron Fist, and the Guardians of the Galaxy all team up to save the universe from those loveable super villains they are always up against! (You can see more details about the show on my previous post here.)
I knew my kids would enjoy the performance, because...well it included some of their favorite superheroes. But even I was impressed with how entranced my kids (aged 3,5 & 7) were with the whole show. I loved hearing them cheer their heroes on and gasp with worry when they thought they were in trouble, Seriously my 5-year-old practically didn't blink for fear of missing a single moment. At the end, he just up and started shouting with glee. All the way home he couldn't stop talking about how cool it was.
In addition to the cool special effects, fun choreographed fight scenes I love how they incorporated in motorcycles, fire dancing and that cool acrobatic aerial dancing where the dancers dance in the air wrapped in ribbons hanging from the ceiling. it was awesome to watch.
