Mimi's Cafe has a New Kid's Menu and it's Awesome!

DId you know that Mimi's Cafe has a new kid's Menu?

This last week I got to take my family to check out the new children's menu at Mimi's Cafe in Murry, Utah. **For those of you who haven't eaten at Mimi's Cafe before it is a French American Restaurant that has delicious food at affordable prices. Yeah, it's totally a favorite dining choice for my husband and I for date nights.Â
The first thing I thought when I saw the new kids menu was...ingenious! Seriously it was more like a kids flip book than a menu with bright pictures for each item so that even kids who couldn't read yet could easily decide what they wanted to eat.
The Menu was divided up into 3 sections. The top section flipped to show the main entrees offered, the middle section was for side dishes and the bottom was for drinks. Additionally, they had their Breakfast items on the inside front cover (since they serve breakfast all day) and desserts on the back inside cover. (which ranged from actual desserts to healthy treats.)
With the pictures of food on the right and cute Paris themed cartoons with french kitties and dogs on the left of each tab the kids had fun flipping through their menus. Along with the new menu, Mimi's Cafe also had fun activity sheet placemats for the kids with the same cartoon animals. These placemats kept our kids well entertained while waiting for their food.
Once my oldest two found out that they could order Breakfast for dinner they decided that was what they wanted. Though they flipped through their menus to decide what drinks they wanted. (Two of our kids decided they wanted fruit punch and one went with lemonade.)
My oldest just had to have the puppy dog pancake for her meal of choice. I have to admit it was pretty cute.
My middle son went with a classic waffle with butter and maple syrup.
My youngest, after flipping through the menu a few times settled on Maccoroni and Cheese and French Fries.
The meal portions were perfect for kids and the prices were pretty decent for a sit-down restaurant. The kids loved their meals and we had a very enjoyable evening.
If you are wondering what my husband and I ate, my husband had a chicken cordon bleu sandwich and I enjoyed a spicy Parmeasion Crusted Chicken pasta dish. yummm. The adult serving sizes were big enough we had to ask for to go container which just meant we got to enjoy the rest for lunch the next day.
If you are looking for a fun restaurant to take your family for a nice out, then I highly recommend heading over to Mimi's Cafe. Especially now with their new kid's menu which is simply amazing.
