Moon Knight, the latest edition to the MCU arrives on Disney + March 30th

Disney Marvel's Moon Knight coming to Disney + on March 30th

I have to say I wasn't sure how I would like Moon Knight. From the trailers, I thought it was going to be more of a Horror thriller and I am not into Horror movies or TV shows. However, when I was offered the opportunity to get to watch the first 4 episodes pre-release I decided to give the series a chance, because my husband and I enjoy MCU, and well he was excited to see it. I am glad I did for I have to say I really really enjoyed it.

Moon Knight isn't a horror-thriller after all. It is more of an action-adventure thriller. With a bit of a physiological twist. The main character is a mild-mannered museum gift shop employee who has a bit of a problem. Steven Grant keeps having blackouts. He also has a tendency to wake up in strange places causing him to go through elaborate measures to make sure he stays in his bed in his apartment when he goes to sleep. Even worse he keeps having memories of a different life.

However, soon you learn that Steven's problems are much worse than that. You learn that sweet Steven is actually a mercenary named Marc Spector (remember those memories of a different life?) who is suffering from DID or Dissociative Identity Disorder. Anotherwards Steven/Marc are distinctive multiple personalities sharing a body. Trippy...right?

Add to that godly intrigue with the gods of Egypt and a deadly mystery that he is thrown smack dab in the middle, and boy do you have an action-adventure thriller that will have you setting aside your Friday Nights to enjoy every week for the next few weeks.

I really enjoyed Moon Knight. Honestly, I found myself on the edge of my seat so to speak throughout the first 4 episodes wondering what was coming next. Normally I am pretty good a predicting what will happen in movies and TV shows but in this case, I was clueless and that just made the episodes even more entertaining. I cant wait to see what happens in the rest of the Season.
