Have you ever stayed at the Flamingo?
Recently we enjoyed a last minute trip to Santa Rosa and were happy we could stay at this fun resort. I totally loved the whole retro vintage feel of the Flamingo. I was also glad that with their variety of rooms and suites we were able to find the perfect fit for our family.
***Pssst pardon the wrinkles on the bed my 3-year-old jumped on the bed right before I could take a picture. lol. Kids...
Our room consisted of a main room and bathroom with an additional room attached that had two twin beds (which my older two kids immediately claimed). You can watch the walkthrough video of our room that we posted on Facebook here.
Thanks to the layout of the Flamingo we were able to park close to the section where our room was making it easier to get all our kids and luggage moved from our car to our room. It was also nice how central the Flamingo was to Santa Rosa Shopping and fast food restaurants, so after checking in we were able to take our kids out to eat before heading back to our room to relax for the evening.
Finding a comfortable place to stay when traveling is always important to me since we tend to end up spending a decent amount of time at our accommodations thanks to our kids.
Another thing I always look at when choosing a place to stay is the food. When kids get hungry they get cranky which leads to a miserable experience. I am happy to say that in addition to being near a bunch of food eateries and having a mini fridge and coffee maker in the room, they also have a great onsite restaurant which we took advantage of every morning for a tasty continental breakfast.
My kids were excited about the Pool situated in the center of the Resort and I was happy to find out about their Spa/ Health Club that was found at the back of the resort. All in all, we could have easily spent our whole time in Santa Rosa just relaxing at the Flamingo,
