43+ Favorite Games to Play at Home With Your Family

Sharing is caring!

Are you looking for some new game ideas to play with your family?

With Shelter in your place and stay at home directives, we have all been isolated at home with our family for several weeks now. Not wanting my kids to spend all their time at home on electronics we have been playing a lot more games together than ever before.

Thankfully my oldest two are finally old enough to play our big person games (and my youngest is totally chill t be on mommy or daddy's team) so we are not limited to Chutes and Ladders or Candyland.

We have a nice selection of games we own but I am thinking of adding some new ones to switch things up. Thankfully I have a good idea of what I want t get since we have played some really fun games during game nights with friends (before this all happened) I also enjoy designing my own printable games.

If you are looking for some good games to add to your family collection here are some of the favorites that we either own or have played and want to own soon.

Free Printable Games

Family Boardgames

Family Card Games and Dice Games

Some games are available via download only while others are available in both physical and downloadable versions. If you are planning on getting a bunch of physical games for your switch, then I recommend investing in a good case that has plenty of spaces for all the game cartridges.

We got this one on Amazon (since we also travel a lot and like taking our switch with us) If you are looking at downloading a bunch of games then make sure to invest in extra memory storage for it can fill up fast. You can get extra memory cards on Amazon here

Do you have a favorite game that I don't have on this list? Let me know in the comments below so I can check it out and add it.

  1. Our family likes Five Crowns. It’s similar to Phase 10, but everyone moves to the next round.
