Are you looking for Educational Documentaries for your kids to use for their Homeschooling?

I love a good documentary. My kids in their normal homeschool routine watch a couple a week on various subjects. It’s a good self-directed school activity the kids can do at the end of their homeschool day which doesn’t often require adult oversight. My husband or I will start the documentary for our kids and after they are done watching it they come and report to use at least 3 things they learned in the documentary which we then discuss together. We have found that Educational documentaries are a great way to introduce fun new subjects to our kids.

With sooo many families finding themselves in the position of homeschooling their kids due to school closures and quarantines, I thought that I would put together this list of great documentaries available to stream online through Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+ & Youtube. I have found documentaries on many different subjects (for we like wot switch things up from week to week depending on our kid’s current interests.)
