8 Companies You Didn’t Know Offered a Homeschool Educator’s Discount

Sharing is caring!

Did you know that there are companies that offer a Homeschool Educator’s Discount?

It is Back to school time once more. Many companies recognizing the financial strain on our often underpaid teachers  (whose work with our children is so important) are gracious enough to offer some great teacher discounts.  And yet what about Homeschool educators?  Homeschooling multiple children is not cheap or easy and often in order to homeschool, families have to sacrifice the income that one of the parents would bring in because they are home with their children.

The homeschool movement has grown tremendously over the last decade. There are now Millions of homeschooling families across the United States. While the laws and educational requirements vary from state to state in most cases homeschool parents are all considered Educators. Sadly not many companies believe this and so they do not extend their educator’s discount to homeschoolers…Yet.

I decided to do some research to see which if any of my favorite companies did extend their Educator’s Discount to homeschoolers or had a corresponding program specifically for homeschoolers.  While some had the needed information on their websites for many I had to personally reach out to get the information I needed. I am so happy to report that the 8 companies below all offer Homeschool Educator’s Discounts.  Keep reading to find out what discount they each offer and what you need to apply to get it!

Do you know if the homeschool discounts are on top of sale prices/clearance Or only for regular priced merchandise?

I think it depends on the store. I know that with JoAnns it is on top of sales but not coupons. I believe Barns & Noble it is on top of sales as well. I haven't yet tried any of the other stores.
