DIY Beanie Boo Pet Carrier made with a Cricut
Did you know you can easily make a Beanie Boo Pet Carrier with your Cricut?

For my daughter's Beanie Boo Pet Adotopn Birthday Party (Check out the full party here), I made little Pet carriers for each Beanie Boo Pet that the kids could decorate at the party (as one of the activities) and then use to carry their pets home in as their party favor.
I made these pet carriers out of White Kraft Board and Foil Acetate (for the front window). I made the boxes small so I could make a carrier with just 2 12x12 sheets of Kraft Board and a small piece of Acetate. Because of this some of the Beanie Boos are a bit smushed in their carrier (but all the ones I got still fit.
Though you could make this carrier with the Cricut Explore Machines (using the scoring tool for the fold lines) I highly recommend using the Cricut Maker and Scoring wheel for better results.
These little carriers go together really easy and they are pretty sturdy due to being made from kraft baord (instead of just cardstock) and hot glue.

For the party, I actually put each Beanie boo in their own carrier then turned them around so it would be a surprise what animal each party-goer would receive. Then after I handed them all out all the kids got to decorate their pet carriers.

It was super cute. My daughter still has her pet carrier on her bed months later for her Beanie Boo Fox to sleep in.
