DIY Chocolate Frog Boxes & Wizard Cards (with Free Printables)
Are you wanting to make your own Chocolate Frogs, Chocolate Frog Boxes & Wizard Cards?

If you have read the Harry Potter books or watched the movies then you have heard of those famous Chocolate Frogs boxed with Wizarding Trading Cards. Of all the sweets mentioned in the Harry Potter books, these are probably the most famous. You can buy them when you visit the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios. However, for those who want to make their own Chocolate Frog Boxes & Wizard Cards, I thought it would be fun to design some easy-to-assemble printables.
A few years ago when I threw my first Harry Potter Halloween party my sister and I looked online for free chocolate frog boxes & wizard cards. We found some to use but the cards weren't sized to fit in the boxes and the box was hand-drawn (so the lines weren't crisp and sharp) and the image was a bit pixelated. However, I loved the shape and basic look of the box itself.
So using that design as a sort of inspiration I designed my own chocolate frog box and wizard cards. I have to say I LOVE how my designs turned out. The matching Gold filigree designs on both the box and cards look stunning against the watercolored background.
I designed 10 Harry Potter Wizard Cards for now (maybe I will add more later.) The Wizard cards in this set are: Albus Dumbledore, Helga Hufflepuff, Godric Gryffindor, Rowena Ravenclaw, Salazar Slytherin, Newt Scamander, Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, and Nicolas Flamel. You can download these printables to make now or save it to your Pinterest board for Harry Potter DIYs to make later.

Do you have a blank card template, if someone wanted to customize the picture? (i.e. put my kids picture in the card for birthday party)
Unfortunately, I don't, not one that could be easily edited for anyone who didn't have the programs and know how to use it.
In total awe of what you've done here, ty!
Aww thank you!
I'm trying to figure out how to download this amazing printable, but when I give my name and email address, it takes me to a link for a Snow White printable instead. How can I do it? Thank you so much for taking the time to make this and then share it with others!! It will add a little fun to our holidays this year!
When you click on the link in the post for the download it takes you to one of my download pages (which has several downloads available). You just need to scroll down until you see the Chocolate Frog boxes which is lower on that download page. You enter your name & email below the chocolate frog box download and an email will be sent to you with the instant download link. Have you come up with any further Wizard cards? I'm excited to do these for my granddaughter's 11th birthday!
I'm sorry I haven't come up with any new ones. I have been quite busy.
Thank you!!
These were fantastic for the HP birthday party I threw! I got great comments!
Oh that makes me soo happy!
What do I need to do if I want to take to a professional copier place? Do I download to a USB drive and take that to them?
Yes just download the printable as if you are going to print from your computer. Then put the file on a thumb drive and take it to your local copy center to have them print it out.
I love these...thank you SO much for this free resource. I am having trouble putting the bottom of the box together...the top I get just fine. Do you have any other photos or advice? Thanks again!
@Pam, I'm having problems with it too
sorry I thought the instructions were clear. After you cut out the bottom (make sure you dont cut off the tabs. You fold on the black lines. First, fold inward than on the next line fold outward. Then you pull each side together and secure the tab on the inside. this makes the bottom of the box flair out a bit then have straight edges for the lid to go over.
i did it ! so easy (:
Yey I am glad.
THANK YOU SO MUCH! You're a true saviour:)
I am not receiving the emails at all.
