Iced Tea The Perfect Treat for a Hot Summer Day! *Review*
(I was given complimentary teas from Blooming with Joy to facilitate my review. However, the thoughts and opinions expressed are entirely my own. You can read my full disclosure here. )
I Love Iced tea. Especially on hot Summer Days.
Maybe it comes from my time living in the South, where everyone porch sits while drinking iced tea, but I just adore a good herbal iced tea when it is hot outside.
It has been a scorching Summer where I live, and with that, my craving for a good herbal iced tea has grown. Thankfully I found Blooming With Joy.com which offers some great tea blends. Especially herbal tea blends which is what my family prefers.
I loved the packaging for my teas. The simple brown box stamped with their logo and tied up with string with a little tag that had a personalized message on the back for me. It totally felt like Christmas or my birthday as I unwrapped my package and folded back the purple tissue paper to reveal my teas. I had one traditional loose tea and two *cold brew tea blends.
- Encouragement Tea Blend, which is a blend of blooming chamomile flowers, and fragrant peppermint leaves.
- *Berry Blast Blend, which is a blend of black currants, cranberries, raspberries, elderberries, bilberries, hibiscus flowers and rose hip peels.
- *Blood Orange Tea, which is a blend of blood orange peels with hibiscus flowers and rose hips.
The first thing I noticed when I opened the individual tea packages was the strong intoxicating natural scents. I couldn't wait to brew them up. The instructions said you don't need any sweetener, just stick the cold brew pouches in the pitcher to brew slowly overnight.
We decided to start with the Berry blast blend. When it was finished brewing I loved the deep ruby color. To be honest, while I really enjoyed the clean zippy taste of the tea as brewed, my children and husband preferred them with some liquid German rock sugar which transformed the tea into almost a berry juice.
I have to say that sitting on my front porch with my goblet of sweet berry iced tea was so relaxing and refreshing. I almost didn't mind the heat.

I make iced tea all the time in the summer. My favorite is a peach white tea I have!
Oooh that sounds good too.
Yummmmmm! I want to try these now!!
they are really delicious!
Sounds SO refreshing!!!
