The first project we did with our chalkboard and marker set was a happy birthday board for my father-in-law. We were throwing a last-minute surprise party and I didn't have time to make a banner to hang up so my husband pulled out the chalk markers and in minutes had a gorgeous birthday message made. 

What I really love about using Chalkola markers was that I could make precision colorful messages and drawings with ease. I have never been a fan of drawing with chalk. I don't like the texture of chalk or it's tendency to smear as you are drawing or even worse make that horrible scratching noise on the chalkboards. It is just like drawing with liquid markers. and then once your design is complete just let it sit for a moment to let the chalk markers dry and then you have a gorgeous design that won't smudge. 

When you want to do a new design just wet a rag and wash off the chalk design. Let the cleaned board dry for a few seconds before you start drawing again.
