Now you can make Disney’s Three-Cheese Grilled Cheese Sandwich at HOME!
Aware that many of us are going through Disney Park withdrawals (due to the park closures which have caused thousands of families to have to reschedule their much anticipated Disney Vacations to later this year or next) Disney is reaching out to its fans to bring a bit of the Disney park magic right to your home.

Over the last 2 weeks, Disney has been slowly releasing through their Disney World park app, Disneyland Park App, blog, and social channels some of their most popular recipes. Now you can enjoy some of your favorite Disney meals and treats while staying home and staying safe! I will continue to keep my eyes out for these recipes to share with you here on the quiet grove, but first I want to try them out myself. Today’s recipe which was shared by Disney last week is Disney’s Three-Cheese Grilled cheese sandwich served at Woody’s Lunch Box at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World!
Disney Park's Official Three-Cheese Grilled Cheese Sandwich
Did you ever try the three-cheese grilled cheese sandwich at Woody’s Lunch Box at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World? Well, now thanks to Disney Releasing the recipe you can make it at home!
Ingredients
Cream Cheese Spread
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded Double Gloucester or cheddar
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
- 1/4 teaspoon coarse salt
New GroupGarlic Spread
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 1/2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon coarse salt
Grilled Three-Cheese Sandwich
- 8 slices of artisan bread
- 8 cheddar cheese slices
- 8 provolone slices
Instructions
Make Cream Cheese Spread
Mix together the shredded cheese (I used cheddar) , cream cheese, heavy whipping cream & salt in a mixer.
Place in a small bowl and set aside.
Make the Garlic Spread
Mix together mayonnaise, minced garlic & salt.
Place in a small bowl and set aside.
Assemble & Cook Sandwich
Set out all 8 slices of artesian bread
On 4 slices place 2 slices of Provolone cheese on each
On 4 slices place 2 slices of Cheddar cheese on each
Spread an even layer of Cream Cheese spread on the slices with provolone.
Press the cheddar side and the provolone side together. (sandwiching the cream cheese spread in the middle. )
Heat a large skillet over medium heat
Brush the outsides of the sandwhiches with the garlic spread.
Grill sandwiches for 2 minutes on each side, until cheese is melted and bread is golden brown.
This sandwich was actually really easy to make and it was amazing! Packed with flavor and oozing with delicious cheese flavor it has become a new family favorite. We served it up with a side of crinkle fries seasoned with parmesan cheese and garlic salt (like we had enjoyed at the Red Rose Tavern when we were last at Disneyland last month.)

This was great! I added a slice of tomatoe to give some texture, but the flavor is great with and without. It is very rich though, definitely a specialty meal.

I must be horrible at cooking because I can’t ever get the cheese on the inside to melt before the bread gets to black on the outside

@Karen, What I do is only place one one half in the pan with the cheese on it on low heat and put a lid on it and wait until the cheese melts before putting the other half on top.

Sounds like you need to turn down the heat you are cooking it at.

i made this and seasoned the mayo spread and cream cheese spread to my taste and it was hands down the best grilled cheese i've ever had. very decadent though, so this is definitely a 'once in a blue moon' type of treat, but if anyone has any complaints about it being bland i would recommend just... seasoning it lol.
