Learn how to make your own leather Dirigible Plum (radish) earrings with a Cricut Maker.
If you are a Loona Lovegood Fan you know what Dirigible Plum (radish) earrings are. These earrings are as much a part of Luna’s iconic look in the Harry Potter series as her spectraspects.
In honor of July being Harry Potter’s Birthday month, I have been creating some fun Harry Potter themed printables and DIY projects. Since my daughter’s favorite character in the series is Luna Lovegood she asked if I could specifically make her some (radish) Dirigible Plum earrings.
I decided to make them out of Cricut Genuine Leather and Iron-on which I cut with my Cricut Maker, then used my easypress mini to apply the iron-on decorations before attaching the hook earrings with jump rings using needle-nose players.

DIY Luna Lovegood Leather Dirigible Plum (radish) earrings
Make your own iconic Dirigible Plum (radish) Earrings that Luna Lovegood was famous for wearing throughout the Harry Potter series. These earrings are made with leather and Iron-on and only take minutes to cut and assemble.

Instructions
Cutting Instructions:
Download Free Dirigible Plum Earring SVG -->HERE<--
Upload into Cricut Design Space and size. ** I sized mine to 1.6 in Wide and 2.729 in High
Select the Design and then use the duplicate button to make the second earring.
Mirror Image all Iron-on Mats
Select foil Iron-on for the first material
Load Iron-on shiny side down on stand grip mat and load into Cricut to cut.
After cut, weed cut the design using the weeding tool in the essential tool kit.
Set material to Genuine Leather and change blade to deep cut blade.
Load leather top-down onto strong grip mat and load into the machine to cut.
After cutting peel the mat from leather.
Easypress Iron-on Instructions:
Heat your Easypress Mini to the 1st Heat Setting.
Heat the leather for 5 seconds before placing the first Iron-on design on Earring.
Press for 30 seconds.
Let cool and peel off the backing.
--> REPETE for each color of cut iron-on <--
Assembly Instructions:
Use the Awl from the Paper tool Kit to make a hole in the leaf part of each earring design to attach the fishhook earrings via jump rings. 
Using pliers attach a jump ring to the top of the earring.
Use a second jump ring to attach the fishhook Earing to the jump ring attached to the leather earring.
