Make your own “Don’t Worry, You’re Just As Sane As I Am” Luna Lovegood shirt using Infusible Ink!
Harry Potter’s 40th Birthday is coming up later this month on July 31st and I am teaming up with some amazing bloggers to bring you some fun Harry Potter inspired treats (like this fun Luna Lovegood Shirt), DIYs, Printables and Crafts to make at home.
We just finished reading the Harry Potter Series as a family this last week. It has been an incredible last few months as we have read and discussed the books together with our children. Of course, our kids are now obsessed with the Harry Potter world. They each have favorite characters and had to take the online test to discover which house they were officially in.
My oldest, is a Ravenclaw and her favorite Harry Potter Character is Lune Lovegood. Luna is Brave yet kind and loving. She is a loyal friend, who never hesitates to do what is right. She is quick to forgive, even when others are cruel. She has a love of art and animals and has a unique way of looking at and seeing the world around her. Best of all she has no problem believing the unbelievable.
So today I thought it would be fun to make my daughter her own Harry Potter inspired Luna Lovegood shirts with one of her iconic quotes from the book. The shirt was easy to make with my Cricut Maker, Infusible Ink, and Easypress 2.

DIY Luna Lovegood Shirt made with Cricut Infusible Ink
Learn how to make this fun Harry Potter inspired Luna Lovegood shirt using your Cricut, Infusible Ink and the Easy Press 2 (+ Free SVG Cut File)

Instructions
Cutting Instructions:
Download the Free Luna Lovegood SVG cut files -->HERE
Upload into Cricut Design Space and size each design according to what size shirts you are making. (Also select all the black text and click attach so your circuit cuts it out in the selected format.)
Click to Make and Mirror Image on Mat.
Select Infusible Ink Sheets from Materials List.
Place Infusible Ink Sheet ink side up onto the mat and load into the Maker.
After cutting, peel mat from the Infusible Ink Sheet and hand weed.
-->Repete for second sheet
Easypress Instructions:
Follow instruction found on Cricut Easypress Settings page --> HERE
Preheat Cricut EasyPress 2 to 385°F and set the timer to 40 seconds
Place Tshirt on Easypress Mat & Insert cardstock inside the shirt to prevent bleed-through
Lint roll shirt to clean the surface before adding Infusible Ink.
Cover Shirt with butcher paper larger than heat plate & Preheat Shirt for 15 seconds.
Remove butcher paper from the top of the Shirt & Place the design face down, liner side up.
Cover with clean butcher paper larger than heat plate & Press with light pressure at 385°F for 40 seconds
Slowly lift press & remove butcher paper & Carefully remove liner while warm (use tweezers if necessary)
As soon as the shirt is cool you can wear it!
Notes
The Infusible Ink sheets will look faded. But don't worry when you add heat the color intensifies.

I let my daughter pick out the infusible ink sheets for her shirt. And even though spectra spects are traditionally shown as pink he really loved the new blue retro marble design so she chose that one instead. We both love how the shirt turned out.
