Wow everyone this holiday season with this edible Christmas tree centerpiece.

Today I am teaming up with wonderful halos to show you have to make a beautiful and edible Christmas tree centerpiece with delicious mandarins.

Wonderful Halos are one of my children's favorite healthy snacks. We love fresh mandarins. In fact, I try to keep them in the house, especially during the cold months for that extra Vitamin C.

In the past, I have enjoyed working with Wonderful Halos to offer my readers some fun DIY crafts that my kids have much enjoyed so I was excited when they reached out to me wanting to collaborate again to bring you a Christmas centerpiece craft. It was easy to make and the end result was stunning.

Instructions

Christmas Tree

First row: Stick 7 Mandarines on a large cake plate. Do this by placing an adhesive dot (or 3) on the bottom of a Wonderful Halos mandarin and then sticking it to the center of your cake stand. Then, place glue dots on the bottom of six more mandarins and place them on the cake stand to surround the one in the center.

Second row: Stick 7 more mandarins onto the first layer of mandarins by using glue dots between the mandarins and on the bottom turned so the rows are staggered.

Third row: Use 5 toothpicks to attach 5 Halos mandarins together into a circle. Then place on top using more toothpicks if necessary for stability.

Fourth row: Use 3 toothpicks to attach 3 Halos mandarins together into a triangle, and place on top using more toothpicks if necessary for stability.

For the top: Poke a piece of greenery into the top of a single Halos mandarin and place it on top securing it with a toothpick (or 3)

Poke greenery into gaps between Mandarins.

Presents:

Tie thin ribbons or twine around a Halos mandarin and knot. Tuck in a little sprig of greenery.

Right now we have this Christmas Tree Centerpiece on our dining room table, but I think tomorrow I'll let the kids take it apart and eat it while it is still fresh.
