Easy Banana Split Ice Box Cake

Sharing is caring!

Are you a fan of Banana Splits? Then you will LOVE this Banana Split Ice Box Cake!

I adore cool treats at the end of Hot Summer days. Especially frozen desserts. Banana Splits have always been a favorite of mine. I love the combination of fresh fruit, ice cream, and drizzled chocolate. My kids would ask for it every day if I let them. This icebox cake is a  fun twist on that classic dessert that is just as yummy.

Ingredients

  • 1 package of Graham Crackers
  • 4-5 Bananas
  • 2 (1.5 oz) packages of Vanilla Pudding
  • 4 Cups of Milk
  • 1 large jar of Maraschino Cherries
  • 1 (8 oz.) Container of Cool Whip
  • Chocolate Fudge

Instructions

    1. Start by layering the bottom of a 9 x 13 in a pan with graham crackers.
    2. Mix together your pudding mix and milk, stir well, and refrigerate for about 5 minutes.
    3. Stir pudding well again, and place on top of graham crackers.
    4. Add a layer of sliced bananas, followed by a layer of cool whip.
    5. Top your cool whip with cherries, graham cracker crumbs, and drizzled fudge.
    6. Place pan in the freezer for about 2 hours.
    7. Serve and enjoy!

Prep time is not long for this dessert but make sure you have enough time to freeze it for best results before eating (at least 2 hours).

Note: If your family is not a fan of cherries you can always get some strawberry gel (which I love to use for strawberry pies or angel cake) and mix it with fresh cut strawberries to place on the top. Either way, this dessert is easy to make and sooo yummy everyone will beg for more.
