Have you ever tried Homemade Teriyaki Sauce?

If not you are totally missing out. My mother grew up in Hawaii and one of the things she brought with her when she moved back stateside (many years ago) was a killer Homemade Teriyaki Sauce recipe. No, seriously I have never tried another teriyaki sauce that has compared with my mother’s recipe.
This Teriyaki sauce goes great in stir fry’s, over rice, for steak sandwiches, or as a marinade for, steak, chicken, pork, salmon or vegetables. We love it sooo much I usually keep a bottle of it in my fridge. (especially during the grilling season.)
The best part is how easy this sauce is to make. It only has 4 ingredients and a single batch makes just over 1 cup of sauce. (Which means for bigger projects I usually make a double batch.)

Ingredients:
-
- 2/3 Cup Kikkoman Soy Sauce
- 1/3 Cup Brown Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Ginger powder
- 1 dash of Garlic Salt
Directions:
- Mix Kikkoman Soy Sauce and Brown Ginger together with small whisk or fork until Brown sugar is dissolved.
- Mix in ginger and garlic salt until well blended
- Use and store the remaining sauce in a bottle in the fridge.
This homemade Teriyaki Sauce recipe is such a big thing in our home we always try to have some in a bottle in the fridge. What will you use the Teriyaki sauce on first?
