Did you know that Disney Parks have a dress code for what you can and cannot wear into their parks? Well, they do. I will go into more detail about the Dress code in a future article. For this article, I want to focus on one particular dress code for Disney Parks. “Costumes may not be worn by Guests 14 years of age or older.” That’s right teens and adults can not wear costumes to Disney Parks. It is because of this rule that Disney Bounding has become so popular for teens and adults.
Disney Bounding is when you coordinate your outfit inspired by your favorite Disney Character. It is a way to dress up without wearing an actual costume. This is totally allowed at Disney parks and a great way to make your trip even more magical. I mean you can just wear your favorite Mickey/Minnie ears along with a normal outfit (like the photo above) but it is soo much more fun to dress up.
There is a lot of fun Disney Characters to use as your Disney Bounding inspiration. I plan on featuring several in upcoming posts (for men, women, and children) Today, I decided to start with Classic Minnie Mouse (you can’t get more Disney than that!).
