I adore Ice. Probably because I have to have my drinks super cold. My favorite type of ice is Nugget Ice. Also known as pebble or sonic style ice. This ice is a softer chewable ice that quickly chills your drink when added. I have been wanting to get my own Nuggest Ice maker for a while (so I wouldn't have to keep buying bags of it to enjoy. When looking for an Ice maker I wanted to go with a brand I could trust. This is why I was soo excited to discover that Newair had a Nugget Ice Maker machine for your home!
We have now had this ice maker for a couple of weeks and I have to say I am totally in love. It is easy to use and it makes the best nugget ice ever!

The ice maker comes with a tube to connect straight to your water line. However, since we have really hard mineral water where we live we opted not to hook our ice maker into our water line and to fill it manually using distilled water (which is recommended) instead. It also has tubes on the back to help drain the ice maker in case it is needed like after doing a self-cleaning.
To manually add water to the Newair ice maker you just remove the basket from the inside of the maker and then fill the water to the max fill line. Then place the basket back in the machine and close the lid. The maker will automatically start making ice until the sensor shows the basket is full.
This nugget ice maker can make up to 30 pounds of ice a day and is incredibly easy to use. When it is on the sensors do most of the work. On the control panel, a light will indicate when it is making ice, cleaning needs water, and if the ice basket is full. If the making ice and cleaning lights blink that just means that the ice maker is doing its auto-defrosting. When it is done the blinking will stock and the machine will go back to making ice.
Lastly, I love that the Newair Nugget Ice Maker comes with a removable basket for the ice and an ice scooper making it easy to serve up the ice in your drinks and bottles. We have only had it for a short while and my family can't imagine life without it.
