WWII Candy Bomber Comes to Orem Utah (July 3rd)
If you are going to be in the Orem/Provo area around 4PM on Friday (July 3rd) then swing by the SCERA park to catch what could be the Candy Bomber's last candy drop!
That's right at 4PM, as part of the Cries of Freedom Event, Glen Halvorsen (aka The Candy Bomber) will fly over SCERA park in Orem and will drop 1,000 candy bars (each attached to its own parachute) to the waiting parents and children below. This is a free event for all ages that you won't want to miss!
Who is The Candy Bomber? He is a great man who brought hope to the children of East Berlin during that dark time in their history.
