Every day my kids ask me how many days till Christmas. Because of this and to save my sanity I like to do advent calendars. We have done homemade ones like my LIttle Lamb of Bethlehem Advent Calendar (get free printables here) and we have done the thing where you wrap 25 Christmas books and unwrap one each day counting down to Christmas. We have also bought those cheap chocolate or candy advent calenders (like these).
