Celebrating Christmas with Nintendo

Was Nintendo a special part of your family Christmas?
Right before Christmas, I arrived home one day to find a box from Nintendo. It was filled with some of the hot new games that they had released this year (in follow up to a special "Holidays with Nintendo" virtual event I had attended weeks before).
I was so excited for these games added to the Nintendo games and toys that I already had wrapped under the tree would make for the perfect Nintendo Christmas for my family
When it comes to game consuls and games nobody is more family-friendly than Nintendo. They are always coming out with new fun, and engaging games for all ages, and this year was no different.
So what was in the box?
Hallmark Nintendo Mario Yoshi Ornament
This adorable ornament from Hallmark was the only item from the box I let my family know about. Being huge Marios fan's my kids couldn't wait to put it on our tree in a place everyone could see. Hallmark makes amazing quality ornaments so it was no surprise that this Nintendo Mario Youshi ornament was simply adorable.
Mariokart LIVE! Home Circut (for the Switch)
Bring your favorite Mario racing game to life with Mariokart Live: Home Circut. This new game allows you to set up a course in your home and react a real Mario car through your course while competing with virtual opponents.
We have loved taking turns passing the Switch to each other to see who could race our course the best. I love how it brings this fun game to life.
Super Mario 3D All Stars (for the Switch)
Mario All-Stars is actually 3 Classic Nintendo games that you can now enjoy on the Nintendo Switch! My husband was particularly excited when he heard about the release of Mario All-Stars.
These were 3 fun games that he grew up playing and he couldn't wait to share them with our kids. As a note, Mario All Stars is only available to purchase through March.
Super Mario Monopoly (Board Game)
It's A Me...Mario...Monopoly! This is a fun twist on a classic game. The properties are of course all Mario themed as are the character tokens. I loved how the game is a bit simpler gameplay (you only have 1 & 5 coins an electronic Question Box.
We found that we like this Super Mario Monopoly a lot more fun than the original game. I mean who doesn't love Mario? This is a fun game that our whole family enjoyed playing together.
For those wondering what Nintendo games and toys we bought our children for Christmas this year (in addition to these amazing items sent to use by Nintendo), we got: Zelda: Link's Awakening (for the switch), Luigi's Mansion 3 (for the switch), Lego Mario and expansion set. All in all, we had a Very Merry Nintendo Christmas this year. If you are looking for fun Nintendo games to enjoy with your family I highly recommend all of these.
