Non-Spoiler Review of Disney's Flora & Ulysses

I was invited by Disney to watch it prerelease in order to write this non-spoiler honest review. You can read my full disclosure here.
Have you heard about Disney’s "Flora & Ulysses" coming to Disney + on February 19th?

Flora & Ulysses is a live-action comedy adventure based on a Newbery Award-winning novel (Flora & Ulysses: Illuminated Adventures) by Kate DiCamillo.
The story centers around 10-year-old Flora who is a self-proclaimed cynic. Young Flora is afraid to hope anymore as she observes her parents struggle with their work and their marriage.

One day Flora saves the life of an adorable squirrel, who she promptly names Ulysses. Soon, Flora discovers that her new pet squirrel has superpowers, just like her favorite comic book characters.

This discovery sends Flora, her wonderfully blind friend, and her parents to embark on an adventure they will never forget. An adventure that taught them that it is ok to hope and that it is important to look back to see that the person you love is still there.
I hope that as my children watch Flora & Ulysses over and over again (as they are wont to do with good entertaining movies) that they will learn to flare up like a flame, see the magic that is still in the world, and know that like Super Heroes they too have a purpose.

This movie had my whole family laughing, cheering, and wondering what would happen next. We loved it soo much we can't wait for when it will be available officially on Disney+ so we can watch it again. While I think they did a great job casting everyone, Matilda Lawler did particularly amazing in her role as Flora.
So if you are looking for a good family movie to watch this weekend, I highly recommend signing in to your Disney+ account to enjoy Flora and Ulysses!
