Add a touch of style to your Downton Abbey tea party with these fun DIY tea bag covers & Downton Abbey quote prints.

In honor of the Downton Abbey Movie being released on DVD I threw a fun English Tea party themed Girls Movie Night. (Check it out Here) for this tea party I thought it would be fun to make some framed Downton Abbey quote prints and DIY tea bag covers with my Cricut.

You can’t see what they say really well in the photos (though they were easy to read in person. However these are the 5 Quotes:
“Vulgarity is no substitute for wit.” = Dowager Countess
“I am a custodian, My Dear, not an owner.” – Lord Grantham
“I think accepting change is quite as important as defending the past.” – Lady Grantham
“The business of life is the acquisition of memories, in the end that’s all there is.” – Charlie Carson
“I’m only going to marry if I am totally, absolutely in Love!” – Lady Rose

These projects were quick and easy to make with my Cricut Maker and really added that perfect Downton Abbey Touch to my Hight Tea table set up for my girls movie night.

The photos just don’t do the framed quotes justice, but they really did turn out nice. I absolutely LOVED how the tea bag covers turned out. Especially with those clear stickers that closed the covers. I am totally making these covers again for my next tea party with my mom, sisters, nieces and daughter.
