FREE Bookmarks & Library Book Note! (Printable and SVG Cut File)
Summer is the perfect time to pick up a good book.
To be totally honest, most of the books I read are on my phone or tablet. It is a lot more convenient that way. However, as convenient as ebooks are, they just can't replace the experience of reading a physical book.
Thankfully, we live near an incredible library with a great selection of books. I love walking up and down the isles reading book titles until one calls out to me to check it out. Then when I return these beloved books I sometimes like to write little messages on paper to be found by the next person who checks out the book. I imagine their surprise and smile as they read what I wrote to them. Hopefully, my notes brighten their day.

Here is my latest note that I actually made with my Cricut Explore Air™ machine, Cardstock, and Cricut Pens. Here is the link to my Cricut Design Space Canvas if you want to make it as well. It says, " May you find new worlds, wisdom, & strength in the pages of this book. Happy reading! <3 A Fellow Book Lover"
I usually have more than one book going at once so bookmarks are a fun necessity for me. Otherwise, there is no way I could keep track of where I am in each book. I have always wanted to design my own, so today I sat down and did just that.
First I made this fun printable bookmark that I absolutely loved. I kept is simple in Blue and Cream with the message, "Between the pages of a book is a lovely place to be."

Then I thought it would be fun to use my Cricut Explore Air to make a layered bookmark. I designed this SVG Cut file which I then uploaded to my Cricut Design Space canvas. Then I just clicked Go to cut the bookmark out of Cardstock. After cutting the two layers I used a glue stick to stick the two layers together for this fun Summer Reading Bookmark.
