Do your Kid’s write Letters to Santa?

We do Santa in our home. But a little different than many families. We made sure from the start that our children knew the truth. That Santa is a fun make-believe character based on a real-life person (St. Nicholas). With that said my kids still have wild imaginations  (they love fairies, unicorns and dragons.) which I encourage.  So when they asked if we could still have fun “Believing in Santa” I figure why not. They know the truth and understand why we celebrate the Christmas Season (aka celebrating the Birth, Life, and Mission of Christ) so why not allow some magic into the holiday as well. Especially if it inspires goodness and giving (two important attributes of Christ.).

This year my kids asked with twinkles in their eyes if they could write letters to Santa.  Not only did I say yes, I decided to make it even more fun by designing some fun Dear Santa Stationary for them to use for their letters.  The letter has a checkbox for the kids to say if they have been good this year or are working on it. It also has a spot for the children to write something they have done that was extra nice as well as the standard spot for them to write what they hope for this Christmas.

I love how this letter to Santa stationary turned out. I can’t believe it has taken me this long to design one. I hope you all enjoy it too.  I think I will also design a fun Letter from Santa that matches my official from the North Pole Naughty & Nice Certificates (get them HERE). That Way I can send them to each of my kids together.

I better get these printed out so my kids can get writing their letters. Then I promised they could go play in the snow and warm up with a mug of hot cocoa with marshmallows. I am sooo excited that the Christmas Season has arrived in the Groves Home!
