Free Printable "Welcome Back" Crayon Banner

Sharing is caring!

Welcome your young students back to school with this fun crayon Printable Banner!

Even though I homeschool my kids, I still get excited for the back to school season. There is always an air of excitement as well as a little apprehension towards the coming school year (wondering what the new school year will hold) in children, their parents, and even with teachers.  Understanding the fine line between expectant excitement and apprehensive fear, many parents like to make going back to school fun for their kids to keep them focused on the positive aspects.  They go back to school shopping (not just for needed supplies but for fun clothes and accessories). They hold back to school parties, take "First Day of School" pictures, send their kids off with a Teacher appreciation gifts, and even pack fun jokes and notes in carefully prepared lunches (I have various printable Lunchbox jokes and Notes here).

In addition to all parents try to do to ease the transition for their kids going back to school, teachers everywhere look for ways to make their classrooms, fun, inspiring and inviting. Some love to decorate their doors and walls, other decorate walls and board with study themes for the coming year. Others spend the time to make little welcome back to school gifts for their students. None of which are necessary but all of which make a difference in with the children heading back to school.

I have a lot of respect for teachers who take their calling to teach young minds to heart and go above and beyond what is required of their jobs to try to inspire their children and encourage them to learn and grow.

While sitting at my computer last night I thought it would be fun to create a fun and colorful "Welcome Back" crayon printable sign for teachers to use in their back to school decor. It would also work great for preschools and day cares. This download comes with 4 PDF pages (3 Crayon letters per a page).

This banner comes ready to print, cut, hang and enjoy. You can hand it a number of ways the most popular methods are to tape the letters to a wall, punch holes in the top corners of each letter to string up or to get small wood clothes pins to attach the banner to a string (which is my current favored method).
