Get Festive with This Free Ugly Sweater “Fa La La La Llama” SVG Cut File!

A few years ago, I teamed up with some of my favorite crafty bloggers to offer a new set of free SVG cut files each month. We call ourselves the SVG Design Squad—cute, right? Every month we pick a fun theme and each create a free SVG for you to download and use in your crafting projects. This month’s theme is Ugly Sweater!

As you know, I absolutely adore crafting—especially with my trusty Cricut machines. I love how versatile they are, letting me create amazing, high-quality projects using so many different materials. Over the years, I’ve shared lots of Cricut DIY tutorials and free SVG cut files here on my blog for you to enjoy. So, of course, I always look forward to these monthly SVG challenges with my blogger friends.

For my Ugly Sweater-themed SVG, I wanted to incorporate a knit-stitch look since the original ugly Christmas sweaters were, of course, knit sweaters! But I also wanted the design to have a touch of cuteness. So I created a “Fa La La La Llama” design—because who doesn’t love a festive llama in a cozy Christmas sweater?

I’m so happy with how it turned out! The design features two layers: a black silhouette base layer and a colorful “stitch” detail layer on top. Together, they create that classic sweater vibe, perfect for the holidays.

This design works beautifully on sweaters, shirts, pillows, mugs, cards, or holiday décor—basically anything you want to add a little festive cheer to! Just use your Cricut or other cutting machine along with materials like vinyl, iron-on, or even cardstock to bring your llama to life.
