Giveaway: 2 Adult Tickets to Utah Renaissance Faire @ Thanksgiving Point
(This is a sponsored post on behalf of The Utah Valley Fine Arts Council and Utah Valley University School of the Arts. I have been compensated for my time, but as always the opinions in this post are mine!)
Mark your calendars for Friday, August 28th and Saturday, August 29th because the Utah Renaissance Faire is coming back to Thanksgiving Point !!
When I think of the Renaissance, I think of The great artist/inventor Leonardo Da Vinci. I think of Michelangelo's David and the Sistine Chapel. I think of the Religious Awakening and men of faith such as Martin Luther, John Calvin, and St Thomas More. I think of Knights and Jousting (after all the renaissance bridged the Medieval time with the Modern age.) I think of my favorite Cinderella Movie Ever After, I think of my husband's favorite video game Assassin's Creed II. I think of Beautiful dresses and men with swords. I think of Explorers and adventurers. In short whenever I think of the Renaissance have a lot to think about.
I have always wanted to attend a Renaissance. I have friends who go every year and rave about how cool it is. I can't tell you how excited I am that this year I not only get to go, but will be taking my whole family!
When I told my 5 year old about it, she responded, "You mean we get to go to a princess Fair?!?" To which I responded..., "Umm, Sort of."
Here is a list of the activities that are going to be taking place at the Utah Renaissance Fair at Thanksgiving Point this year:
