Magical Memories with Stephen's Gourmet Hot Cocoa + Giveaway

When it comes to Hot Coco Stephen's Gourmet Hot Cocoa will forever hold a special place in my heart.

Growing up, my sibling and I were always looking for any excuse to make a creamy delicious cup of cocoa. As soon as the weather turned cold those excuses were found often. Thankfully my parents (who love a good cup of cocoa as much as we do) always kept our home stocked with our favorite flavors of Stephen's Gourmet hot cocoa. Where each of my family has their favorite chocolate flavors that they always had to have, I loved to mix them together.

My favorite combination would have to be part mint truffle, part milk chocolate and part french vanilla with a few mini marshmallows thrown in for good measure. Though I am always up to trying out more combinations. No matter what flavor I try their cocoa is always a rich experience of creamy chocolaty goodness.

I have soo many precious holiday memories involving Stephen's Gourmet hot cocoa. I remember warming up drinking my favorite coco after building snow forts in my yard with my brothers and friends and having an epic snow battle as a kid. I remember countless times drinking coco as we drove around as a family to see the Christmas Lights. I remember drinking Stephen's hot cocoa after ice skating with my friends as a teenager. And I remember nursing my hot cup of Stephen's cocoa while caroling as a young adult. Of all my memories there is one in particular that I will always treasure.

8 years ago my husband proposed to me in front of both our families Christmas morning. It was the best gift I would ever receive. However, from that moment on for the whole rest of the day, I wasn't able to snag even a single moment alone with my husband to be. When I complained to my younger siblings (who were happily monopolizing my fiancee's time) they cheerfully told me, "You get him for forever, so we get him today."

It wasn't until late that night that after my family had all gone to bed that we were actually able to be alone together. As I had done countless time before I made myself a cup of Stephen's Gourmet Hot cocoa and this time one for my Fiancee. We then slipped quietly into my parent's living room and in the glow of the twinkling lights of the Christmas tree we sat and talked about our future while sipping our cocoa.

After a while, we fell into a comfortable silence and just snuggle on the couch while finishing our cocoa in silence as we basked in our newfound love and dreams of what our lives would hold together. Now, whenever I see a container of Stephen's Gourmet hot cocoa I think of my husband. I think of that long ago Christmas night as we dreamed of our future together.  I think of how blessed I am to be living that dream.

  5. It's so nice when aromas and tastes remind you of special moments. Sipping from your cup of hot cocoa and remembering how your husband proposed must give you such a nice warm feeling.

  15. We picked up the peppermint flavor and love it. It is not one of our favorites. The taste is perfect and its nice and thick hot cocoa.

  21. I haven't tried this hot cocoa yet but am totally interested. I have had gourmet hot cocoas and how do you drink any lesser quality after that? It just isn't the same.
