Whoohoo! I feel like doing a happy dance! I can't believe that it has been a whole year since I launched my Family Lifestyle Blog, And yet at other times, it feels like I have been running it forever. Thank you for joining me in the journey To celebrate I am planning a lot of fun freebies and Giveaways this month. To start I am excited to be teaming up with IKEA Draper to offer this $50 IKEA Gift Card Giveaway!

I have been an IKEA fan for as long as I remember. Or at least since they opened up a store in Draper, Utah (30 minutes away from my home). If you have ever visited my home growing up or the home my husband and I just sold, you would see touches of IKEA everywhere. My mother's favorite items from IKEA are her tall bookcases that line the walls in our downstairs family room, and her salad spinner (which I swear she gives to everyone who gets married). My husband fell in love with their awesome drafting table with the light box and lamp which have been perfect for his illustrating work. One of IKEA's products that I fell in love with was their cubby shelving units and organizing baskets which my husband and I bought for our kid's rooms to keep them clean and organized.

When it come to decorating your home (whether you are working with a small living space or have a lot of spare room) IKEA has the furniture, decor and accessories for you. I love how they offer different styles for their furnishings from ultra modern to romantic classical. I could easily get lost for hours in their store looking through all their treasures. Every time I go I get more ideas of things I want for my home or to use for future blog posts.

In addition to their amazing Home furnishings, they also have the tastiest food. I love taking my kids to eat at their restaurant to eat for lunch. I usually order their Sweedish Meatballs,potatoes, and lingonberry juice and my children love to order their chicken strips and french fries and water. This month (June 2016) IKEA is running a Feeding America Campaign where they are donating $1 from each kid's meal (or customers can choose to donate) to their LOCAL Food Bank!
