Are you ready to join me in taking my 2018 Reading Challenge?
I adore reading. I have since I was a kid. To this day depending on how busy I am (which to be honest with being a Full-time blogger and homeschooling mother of three kids aged 7,5 & 3 I am always busy) I read anywhere from a book a day to a book every 3 days. Reading is how I learn, how I explore, how I relax, how I rejuvenate and at times even escape the pressures of life for just a bit.
Though I have many favorites books I have found and collected over the years (in many different genres) I am always on the lookout for new amazing books. I love reading challenges because they help me to do just that.
How? Well, most reading challenges (if they are good) involve a mixture of requiring you to visit old favorites as well as new unknown genres, authors, and books. When I take these challenges, I find that I greatly enjoy basking in the company of my old friends, beloved authors, and doorways that transport me to special places that are found within my favorite books, while at the same time finding new and exciting ones that I would never otherwise have found.
Last year I decided to create my own reading challenge. I wanted to create a challenge that could be used year after year and never get old. I am happy with what I came up with. Many f you must have loved it as well because my 2017 Reading Challenge was one of my most popular printables this year.
In answer to those inquiring if I would have an updated 2018 Reading Challenge printables, the answer is YES. and it’s here! I would have had it up sooner but in addition to the holidays, I have been sick causing me to get behind my work.
Anyways, my reading challenge comes as a printable bookmark that you cross off as you go. I actually created 3 versions. 1 for Adults. 1 for youth and 1 for children. This way your whole family can participate no matter their age. *Of course, for the children (depending on their respective reading abilities) they can read the books in the challenge or have you read each one to them. and adults and youth who prefer to listen to audiobooks are welcome to use this challenge too.

As you embark on this fun challenge with me feel free to comment below which books you choose and what you think! This is sure to be an excellent year of reading for all of us! ** I even have these fun Summer Reading Program printables for the whole family which you can use to track your reading this Summer (which let’s be honest is probably when you will get the majority of your reading done this year.)
