Cute + Easy Tags to Pair with Any Gift

Teacher Appreciation Week is coming up quick—Monday, May 5 through Friday, May 9, 2025—and if you’re anything like me, you’re just now pulling together gifts for your kids’ amazing teachers. Whether you’re planning something big or keeping it simple, a thoughtful tag can make even a small gesture feel extra special.

To help you out (and save your sanity), I’ve designed a set of free printable Teacher Appreciation gift tags that are ready to download, print, and attach to any gift you’ve got planned. Cute, colorful, and easy to cut—these are perfect for busy parents who want something fun and thoughtful without a ton of effort.

This printable is a one-page PDF featuring 9 unique gift tag designs, all created with a clean white background and bright, bold colors that pop. I kept things modern and cheerful so they’ll look great with just about any gift—coffee, plants, treats, school supplies, you name it!

I also added light grey background edges and cut lines to make trimming the tags super simple (no guessing where to cut). Just print, cut, punch a hole, and you’re good to go.

Here’s what I recommend for the best results:

  • Print on white cardstock for sturdier tags
  • Use a paper trimmer or scissors to cut them out
  • Hole punch the top, and tie it on with ribbon, twine, or even washi tape

Each tag has a short, sweet message paired with a colorful illustration. Think “Thanks a latte” with a cute coffee cup, or “You’re the highlight of my day” next to a highlighter. There’s something for every teacher personality.

I know how hectic May can be for parents (so many end-of-year things), so I kept these designs clean and easy to pair with whatever you already have or can grab last-minute. Pop one on a gift card envelope or tie it to a baked treat—instant thoughtful teacher gift with a personal touch.

I had such a fun time creating these! I’d love to hear which tag you end up using—or if your kids have a favorite. And if you post a pic of your finished gift, be sure to tag me so I can see how it turned out!

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week to all the incredible educators out there—and to all the parents making the magic happen behind the scenes.
