Mark your calendars for Friday, August 26th and Saturday, August 27th because  the Utah Renaissance Faire is coming back to Thanksgiving Point !!

As a lover of history, I have always wanted to attend a Renaissance Faire. Then last year I was finally able to do so with my family. IT WAS AMAZING! My whole family loved it! We can’t wait to attend this again this year!

Utah Renaissance Faire

Some of our family’s favorite moments at last year’s Renaissance Faire were:

  • The Fairy court. My daughter especially loved meeting the Fairy princess and they both loved the special treasure they were given after they answered a riddle put to them by a member of the fair court.
  • The Birds of Prey presentation. I loved learning the history of Falconry and hawking while my children loved getting to see the majestic birds of prey up close.

  • The Medeavil Magic Show. My whole family was greatly entertained by the various magic tricks performed. The Magician was funny and knew his craft well.  I have to say my kids were enchanted 😉
  • The crafter’s booths. I loved looking through the different booths with food and wear and wished I had brought more money to spend for there were soo many things I wanted to buy.
  • Also at the Faire were jousting, sword fighting, a procession of the royal court,  Musical performers, comedy acts and more.
