Are you planning a Disney or Mickey Mouse themed classroom this year?

 

It’s that time of year where parent’s and teachers are preparing for school to start up again. Parents are busy with back to school shopping (getting clothes, supplies, & fun school accessories) for their children as well as transitioning from summer to school year habits. Meanwhile teachers everywhere look for ways to make their classrooms, fun, inspiring and inviting. Some love to decorate their doors and walls, other decorate walls and board with study themes for the coming year. Others spend the time to make little welcome back to school gifts for their students. None of which are necessary but all of which make a difference in with the children heading back to school.

 

 

A few days ago one of my readers asked if I could customize one of the printables I offer here on thequietgrove.com for her to use in her Disney Themed Classroom. I was happy to do so but then I got to thinking how fun it would be to make a Mickey Mouse head “Welcome Back” Banner as well. (After all my Crayon “Welcome Back” Banner has been quite popular since I released it 2 years ago and I had been meaning to create some more in other themes.)

This banner comes ready to print, cut, hang and enjoy. You can print at a professional print shop or at hoem on your own inkjet Color Printer You can hand it a number of ways the most popular methods are to tape the letters to a wall, punch holes in the corner of each ear to string up or to get small wood clothespins to attach the banner to a string (which is my current favored method).
